About Us

CannaFi Group Ltd ‘CFP’ is a registered limited company based in Gibraltar and operates as the Investment Director to the Gibraltar based CannaFi Fund PCC Ltd. The principal activity of the Fund is to develop, build, own and operate cannabis assets in the pharmaceutical, health and wellness sectors. The global legal cannabis industry is still relatively nascent and continues to grow at an attractive pace. As further legalisation and regulation is introduced, the Fund is tasked with identifying high quality opportunities, both new and established, to generate an intelligent presence at all stages of the cannabis supply chain – from seed to shelf.

The company has positioned itself to activate the fund in line with the proposed legislative changes in Gibraltar. Gibraltar is in the process of amending its legislation in respect of legal cannabis investments. The amendments will rectify the proceeds of crime hurdle that currently exists in most jurisdictions irrespective of the fact that the underlying cannabis investment is legal. On the assumption that the Fund’s underlying investments in cannabis are legal where the activity is undertaken, the Fund will not face any proceeds of crime issues in Gibraltar. The change in legislation is due to be passed into law by the end of June 2021.
